About Me

E-mail: [email protected] OR [email protected]

My name is Stephanie Blanchfield and I am in my first year at McGill University where I am studying Secondary Education.
I recently graduated from John Abbott College in Montreal, with a DEC in Social Science.

I was born in the West Island of Montreal and I have lived here all my life. My mom is English and my father is French Canadian.

This past summer I worked at a day camp called Camp Kiwanis which is run out of the West Montreal Centre of Readaptation. Kiwanis is a camp for intellectually handicap children run by the West Island Association of the Intellectually Handicap. I had such a great summer that I am now working for Amuse' Action, a daycare service for intellectually challenged children. Amuse' Action runs out of JFK Elementary School in Beaconsfield. JFK is a french alternative school that specializes in intellectual disabilities.

When I am not in school, I like to go shopping, play sports, watch movies and read.
I love to spend time with my family, best friends, and my boyfriend.

Once I have finished my Undergraduate Degree in Secondary Education I hope to apply for my Masters in Educational Leadership.
Upon graduation I am hopping to teach in a public school in the West Island teaching Canadian History or Contemporary World.
